F-86 Lancieri Neri
Ciao a tutti
Vi presento l'ultimo modellino completato ultimamente.
Storia in breve (in short): Founded in 1957, it went from being a reserve patrol of the Red Devils to an official team in 1959, the year in which the Re Devils simultaneously ceased its activity. The Lancieri Neri Team was formed by the 2nd Air Brigade stationed at the military airport of Cameri Montichiari Air Base and was equipped with 6 Canadair Sabre Mk4 jet fighters painted in the characteristic black color except for the under the wing surfaces painted with the tricolor.
Near the air brake panels of the aircraft was placed the tricolor Italian cockade, while just below the cockpit was reported the name of the patrol Lanceri Neri in white.
The Air Force used the Canadian-built version of the North American F-86 Sabre in the Mk.4 version. These aircraft arrived in Italy in 1957
